Mr. Shyam Kumar is the CEO of Puthiya Thalaimurai Group which has interest in news and entertainment television and magazine. He has around 25 years of experience in sales and marketing. His media-career commenced in 2007 when he spearheaded the launch of Times of India in Chennai as City Head. He joined the Puthiya Thalaimurai Group in 2009 as Vice-President- Marketing of Puthiya Thalaimurai Magazine.
In 2011, he led the launch of Puthiya Thalaimurai news channel as director- operations. As CEO of the group, he has the credit of starting the entertainment channel, Pudhu Yugam.
Dr. S Krishnaswamy is a writer, producer, director of documentaries. He is the founder of Krishnaswamy Associates which produces non-fiction and Television films. He has won a number of awards for his documentaries and television serials including the coveted Lifetime achievement award conferred by the US international film and video festival. His most known documentaries include Indus Valley to Indira Gandhi and Indian imprints which explores the spread of Indian culture all over South Asia since ancient times. He has been on the governing body of the film and television institute of India and NFDC. Dr. Krishnaswamy was also conferred with the Padmashree in 2009.
Bina Sujith is the editor of JFW – a leading women’s magazine and Club Class and Co-Founder of Option Media – a luxury lifestyle magazine published under the aegis of Option Media Limited. She has been instrumental in taking JFW and Club Class across South India to make it the only magazine of its kind in both the genres with a very wide section of readers. Bina along with her team has created successful annual events such as JFW Women Achievers Award which has completed 7 editions.

Dr. Gopalan Ravindran is the professor and head of department of journalism and communication, University of Madras. He has served as a reader, and head of department of Communications at Manonmaniam Sundararnar Universitym, Tirunelveli. He has also taught at the School of Communication, University Sains Malaysia, Palau Penang, Malaysia and Department of International Communication, Nagoya University, Japan. His areas of interest include film cultures, digital cultures, political economy of space, media and communication, cross cultural communication and critical communication studies. His works on these areas have been published in international journals. One of the papers on Tamil diasporic cinema won the best paper award in South Korea in October 2006.
Anuradha Nagaraj has spent over a decade sniffing news – dissecting, decoding and presenting it so that it continuously finds relevance among the intelligent reading public. Anuradha started her career with The Indian Express as a reporter and rose to be the city editor of its Delhi edition within a short period. During this journey she has been the state correspondent in Rajasthan, extensively covered North Maharastra and New Delhi. Presently, she is th ecitty editor of Deccan Chronicle in Chennai.
Anuja Gulati has been working in the area of Population and Development for the past 26 years, of which the last 16 years have been with the United Nations Population Fund as the State Program Officer for Maharashtra. In the recent past she has supported the Government for effective implementation of the PCPNDT Act, to curb gender biased sex selection and has been involved in building capacities of the Judiciary, Prosecution and Implementing Authorities for this purpose. She also provides techincal backstopping to Government of Maharashtra (GOM) for programs on reproductive health and gender. She was a member of the committee formed by GOM to suggest amendments to the MTP Act. She is a member of the committee on sexual harassment constitutes by the Department of Health and Familyl Welfare, GOM.
Dr. Sharada is active in the developmental sector for the last 25 years as a researcher, trainer and programme manager. She is the Director of Population First for the last 10 years. She had the opportunity to work with international agencies like UNICEF, UNFPA and other Non – government organizations as a consultant. Dr.Sharada was invited by the State Department of US to represent India under the International Visitors Leadership Programme (IVLP) on Role of NGOs in Global Gender Issues. She is a special invitee to State Supervisory Board on PCPNDT Act, and the Committee constituted by the Government of Maharashtra on IEC policy. She is one of the member of Sexual Harassment Committee. She has recently come on the board of Campaing India Magazine as gender expert
